Ultimo set up, USUAL AND DISqC 1.2 Any Help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi,
Set up Ultimo using VTI image using USUALS ,the problem i have is that my dish is slightly out so i have adjust USUAL settings to be able to get signal and view channels using bouqets ,however i could do with adjusting / moving dish position to fine tune for better signal, i am aware that bouqets also hold sat positions, apart from getting someone out to relign dish [ never been 100% ] . Were is the option in menu to move the dish so i can store sat positions at there strongest signal .

The solution is actually quite simple:
use positioner and see if the signal gets better turning the dish a bit west or a bit east.
Knowing that, slightly change your own position: if you had to move the dish east, move your own position a bit west (and vice versa). Do that with 0.1 degree, and repeat the sequence until you get no better result.

Be aware that this will only give you a satisfactory result, if the misalignment is small.

just cannot cannot get on screen with option to move, box ends up rebooting,
cannot seem to get out of USUALS, any ideas,got this far on first linux receiver.all working just signal strenght issue.

Hmmm, not sure what's happening at your end. Image fully updated? Any chrashlogs available?
USALS working just fine on my Ultimo.

Please can you tell me which image you are using on your Ultimo,i am using the 2.3.0 cam is that the one you use,did you use VU+ control centre or dreambox edit on transfers files,
I hope i am not being too intrusive ,just on a learning curve with the your help m8.

Ultimo with latest ViX (= 2.3 build 204), CCcam installed, settings from the feeds.
