    3tb hard drive?

    anyone know if a 3tb harddrive will work in a ultimo ? got a mate who is trying and cant get it to initialize

    i dont think it does at the moment

    maybe a update in future will allow it

    i suggest using linux to partion it half and half

    and then mount it media/hdd and media/hdd2

    Not sure whether that's the problem, as when the boxes didn't support 2TB, it would still allow you to initialise, and report the full size, just that it didn't work when it got to more than 1TB (or was it 1.5TB?!)

    Worth a try doing as silver fox suggested... But it might be a problem with the hdd. What brand/model is it?

    not too sure what brand it is, it recognised it as a 750gb for some odd reason tho
