I am looking to buy an original DM500 or DM600 for a mate to try out linux boxes.
Must be cheap though.
DM500 original weill be a night mare to get

I have a dm600 and a dm7020 but there being used by family members. I do however have a Boxed TM600 which in my opinion is far superior hardware wise to the DM500/600 if you ask me, although a bit limited image wise.
if your interested i'm looking for around £75 delivery included. it's just over a year old and used very little so clean cost me £120 to buy new.
payment methods would be papal gift or bank transfer.

Agree with pheonix..
The technomate TM600 is far more superior to the DM500 or DM600..
I always found that any DM500 or DM600 can be crashed quite easily buy zapping too quickly though the channels..
the TM600 will not do this..
The TM600 is also alot nicer to use.. than the other 2..

Ive had quite a few 600`s.. and all done the same thing..
Maybe i was unlucky.. or maybe you have been lucky.. lol
But in saying that.. I hate dreambox with a passion..
The dm600 is good enough to keep the kids happy.
I,m more than happy with my ET9000 for downstairs.
My mate has seen my dm and just wants to try one out for a bit before he commits to a better box that,s all.
I have a dm600 I would sell with 60gb hdd fitted. Depends on what you call cheap I guess?
