    Mgcamd and new vix image problem

    Hi, since putting the new vix image on my duo I am getting freezing and blank channels. This didn't happen on the other vix version. I can change channel and it is blank or no sound. I also get cannot parse this emu a lot of the time. It is really bad. Some channels work and some don't. I have read various posts on this but still unsure what is causing the problem. can someone advise me please

    I have restored the previous image using backup manager and it is working perfect, so I'm assuming it is the new image??

    Hi there,

    You need to update the box type in mg_cfg from 00 to 06 for mgcamd to work in the latest image!

    Cheers,

    Strange, all I had to do was change the box type and everything has been 100%.

    I'm using 1.35a if that helps..

    I know, I'm also using 1.35a. I'm viewing previous vix version and having no trouble switching channels or freezing.

    Try this
    L: { 03 } 192.168.1.200 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log or

    L: { 00 } 192.168.1.200 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log

    Where the ip address is the ip address of the box

    Also

    M: { 01 }

    C: { 01 }

    A: { 01 }
