I have found that my problems are In high Ku band where almost all V pol are at least 25 % or more less than their H pol relative transponders
obvious Is that when freq getting higher the more difficult for tuner to receive It - that Is for H pol transponders
V pols above 12.090V are tune failed on all fringe transponders compared to db5620 which works 24/7 with at least 65% of the V pol fringe transponders
I have read some older postings In other forums for a similar problems with Vu Uno so Vu Uno owner can cooperate here

That's nothing to do with the tuner. If there is a difference in performance between H and V it must be the aerial system. How the tuner processes H and V is identical for both polarizations.

In general terms the Ultimo displays worst SNR than the Duo on higher IFs, on both polarisations. The opposite is true to some extent at lower frequencies. I don't know whether this is just a numbers game though without doing further testing.

your shots are with FEC 2/3 which tolerate low level signal
would you please If It Is not a problem check out Astra 1H 12.168V, 12.148H, 12.246V, 12.324V, 12.404V, 12.603H with duo and ultimo
these freqs are working with my older boxes but with ultimo almost all are tune failed (excl. 12.148H and 12.603H still with break ups and for a few hrs)
are there In your location fringe transponders that can be better locked with one or other Vu

Astra 2 is the only LNB I am sharing between both receivers, so it is the only one I can do a constructive test on without playing about with cables. FEC 2/3 (in QPSK) loses lock at about 25%. I can't see what another test would prove. You can already see from this the Ultimo tuner is not performing so well as the Duo. This only happens at the top end of high band, not the top end of low band, so my guess is that it is some interaction with the 22kHz tone generator.

Anyway if you are noticing this moderate percentage difference your dish is already too small.

But tbh I'm not impressed by the discussion there. Are they all serious??

The 12480 issue they are talking about is a collision with a DECT phone for sure.

Sasho, where are you located? My guess is somewhere near the Black Sea well outside the 1H footprint.

You are 110% correct there, I just tested Dmax again, and it's breaking up, pulled the power lead out the bottom of my DECT phone base unit and instantly the picture is clear.

I did used to suffer similar random issue's with my old duo, but can't confirm with the new 1, as it's in a different room.

Now i've moved the dect base unit downstairs I have no issue right now with either box
