    I came from the same origins (almost) Humax 5300 vaci/skystar 1/ then the real world, DB7000, tried most of the variants,(+ technomate 9100 series) eventually arriving at the db 800, and then the VU+ duo

    and like yourself,I aggree awesome unit,

    welcome aboard

    only got in to the scene a couple of years back with a clone dm500. fortunately didn't install the gemini image

    Since that, moved on to dm800 then a vu+ duo after selling the 800. keep the 500 running as a spare server/receiver for the bedroom
