VIX 2.3 15.8E and Tring Sport questions

Im trying to find 15.8e using the latest Vix image.I dont use usals as they never seem to hit the sat no matter what i do. What i do is , i go into the tuner on my VU+ DUO and add the sat's and give them a position number say 19.2e = position "19" but 15.8e isnt listed but 16e is.
the reason i mention this im trying to get tring sport 2-3-4 for the football but when i looked at "LJ's" and searched the transponder position it gave for tring sport and scanned , nothing was found searching though on 16e. i can get other tring channels on 16e but no sport.

My questions are ;
whats the script with 15.8e ? should i be able to get it or is it the same as 16e ?.
should it be in the tuner listing ?
should i be able to pick up tring sport and were is it ?.

16.0 and 15.8 are the same thing however some bouquet makers list one or the other and confuse the hell out of the box. best load a new satellites.xml to the box and try again.

you can create a satellites.xml here

make sure it contains all the satellites you want to receive, then follow this tutorial to add the new file to the box under the ViX image

i looked at your link but i dont know what you mean m8 sorry .

I mean that they are in the exact same location so change the satellites.xml as i posted above and try again.

i loaded a new xml from the website rebooted but tring sport still not there .

have you performed a re-scan on 15.8 / 16.0 east since loading the new satellites.xml file ? as you would need to do this you also need to reboot the box for the new satellites.xml file to take effect.
