    Without setting B line to 06, MGcamd doesnt even work on CT/Xtrend boxes...

    It makes perfect sense m8,
    I guess mgcamd does not recognises VU as mips with new kernel.
    Will try later

    I have just upgraded to latest vix image and I'm having the same problem. changed b to 06 (using vu+ duo) but still freezes or opens some channels and not others. I keep on having to restart softcam to get it going again. I never had this problem on the older image. using mgcamd 1.35. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

    Hi

    Can anyone please take a look at my settings. I have an ET9100 with VIX 2.3 running.

    I have been advised to use Mgcamd 1.35a but I not sure how to get it working. I am currently using Cccam 2.2.1 via an Nline.

    I have tried to configure Mgcamd, please see my settings below (I have taken out user pass etc):

    mg_cfg (in /var/keys):

    # EMM messages
    # 00 don't show any EMMs (default)
    # 01 show only valid EMMs
    # 02 show valid and bad EMMs with complete data display
    M: { 02 }

    # ECM messages
    # 00 don't show anything about ecm
    # 01 normal mode, show pids processed, decoded ecm and cw
    # 02 verbose mode, show valid and bad ECMs with data
    C: { 02 }

    # AU
    # 00 disable, no emm pids processed
    # 01 enable, emm pids always processed for soft-au and shared cards
    # 02 auto, emm started only if channel cant be decoded
    # 03 process emm pids for network cards update only
    A: { 02 }

    # key update (sum 01 or 02 with 04)

    # 11 stapi/openbox
    B: { 06 }

    # map all 180x nagra caids to 1801
    # default is 01
    F: { 01 }

    newcamd.list (in /var/keys):

    CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
    CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
    CWS = dnsname.dns.org 19533 user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    Mgcamd is working alongside Cccam according to SoftCam/CI settings. As soon as I disable Cccam and just have Mgcamd running, the picture immediately freezes. Can anyone see from my settings what the problem is? Any advice would be gratefully received!

    Apologies Stanman.

    I didn't realise that Nlines were illegal on here.

    Hi, I think I had a similar issue once, where CCCam was interfering with Mgcamd/Oscam. I got around this by changing the SERVER LISTEN PORT to 0 in Cccam.cfg

    Maybe this works for you.
