    System Crash VIX 2.2.0

Following several system crashes caused by the Auto Timer I sent in the Log Files Ref 1324127267.14

Today while setting up an auto timer my system crashed again but this time it was fatal.

When I switched off and on again the VIX loading screen starts but as the rotating VIX logo appears (top left) it switches to a green screen with the logo rotating.

After a few seconds it returns to the loading Screen and then the green screen again and then just continues in this state of alternating screens.

I tried to reflash by putting the USB in front USB port but the same screen action as described above occurs.

Any help and advice as to how to proceed much appreciated.

did you format the stick before ? also make sure every other USB device is removed from the box and if possible try another stick.

you could also try flashing the new bootloader first even if you already have done then flash the image.

    Thanks Pheonix

Removing the USB with the picons on from the rear port let the flash proceed fine

Looks as if I have lost all my setup but I am pleased it's back from the dead.

Not familiar with 'bootloaders' so hopefully I will get it all back working soon.

I will let you know if any further glitches occur but I will keep well away from the Auto Timer in future as that seems to have been the source of my problem.

Many thanks again I shall make a contribution now.
