as i posted in big red letters. these drivers will only work with the linux kernal 3.1.0 or higher, it's even included in the name of the driver archive.

Yes i already am on 3.1.0, don't assume ... I ment the previous boot loader (not original one) which enable the leap to 3.1.0

I thought this was a new boot loader, how do we install those drivers ?

i did not assume any thing, these drivers require kernel 3.1.0 minimum.

It's probably worth explaining what that is, exactly. I have no idea - seems many are in same boat.

linux 3.1.0 is a new kernal and higher than the old kernal 2.6.31

the new drivers are only compatible with the newer higher kernal

The new kernel is already in the image so if you flash VIX 2.3 you will be fine.

For 2.3 you need to update your bootloader and you do this the same way you flash the image, have you updated your bootloader? what image are you currently on.
