****Once flashed with this BL you will not be able to use images with folder name ET5000******
Format the USB on the PC and than drag and drop the file in the extracted folder to your USB.
Than follow the instructions here on how to flash. http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...B-memory-stick
If it does not work try it with a another USB
Also remember the bootloader flash takes literally seconds.

Did you try to flash the new image after the bootloader. Also do you have any other USB sticks in the box, if so pull them out and than flash.
PS - def turning it of by the rocker switch on the back?

Not tried to load the new image as it still says it on the old loader and ye deffo usint the switch at the back
try flash vix 2.3 and see if that flashes
if it does then you already have new bootloader
