    auto 4:3 to 16:9

    hello,

    when i look movies, sometimes comes a movie in 4:3. With the UR-Image scale it up auto to 16:9 format, but with the wos-iq image does it works. how can i make it, that 4:3 auto scale up to 16:9?

    Is this on SD or HD channels?
    Auto switching on DH channels won't work (as the signal is simply 16:9), on SD channels it does work (but depends on the usersettings in A/V).

    thanks for your answer.i've tested it only on hd channels, by the next 4:3 movie i'll test it on a sd channel

    What are your settings in the a/v setup for "Display 4:3 content as:"??? If you want the black lines, set it to pillar box, if you want it to scale and fill as 16:9, choose Just Scale...

    And that is indeed correct: HD channels are always in 16:9 (if the actual contents is 4:3 black bars are added, so the signal is 16:9 again).
