I downloaded silverfox via the plugin menu and it works a treat mate. Just like Sky lineup.

in dreamboxedit you need to enable " allow duplicate entries in user bouquets" in options / advanced. then restart the program. you will also need to download a new bouquet pack as the old settings will have corrupted the current pack.

SO trying to under stand these bouquets in silverfoxs sly uk bouquet, so it starts with SKY UK@28.2E Silverfox which contains all the channels from 101 BBC ONE thru to 998 sky intro.
And the next bouquet starts after that HD Channels etc etc, so when the bouquets are transfered to the VU+ the first Bouquet starts at ch1 and the second bouquet starts at ch567 on my box.

With sly the favourites was just links to the channel in the channel list and not duplicates as with the bouquets i presume.

So i suspect i will have to create or modify the bouquets.

the allow duplicate entries option allows the box to use the place holder channels within the bouquet so that it can follow the sky uk lineup. without these placeholder channels ( blank channels that sky uk currently dont have any thing on ) you would not be able to follow the sky lineup at all.

redownload the bouquets and before loading them in dbedit go to options

set the advanced tab allow duplicates

then load settings into dbedit and they will be in order

tbh creating favs is hard as i dont know what people like and dont like thats why i got the 1-100 in its own bouquet so users can add favs in there them selves according to what they want

I was using an older version of dreamboxedit 3.0.0.1 i think and have just downloaded 5.0.0.1 and the channel no!s show up now so i can edit them.

But i know what you mean about creating favourites, its appity you cant map a channel in the HD Favourite group to the same channel in the SKYUK lineup thus using the same dreambox ch no! if you know what i mean, as skys hd box is just a link to the actual channel.

Quick question... im in Northern Ireland, the only thing i would change on the epg is channel 1,2 & 3.
Here in N Ireland its UTV. How can i move these channels.

    101 - I need BBC Northern Ireland
    102 - BBC NI
    103 - UTV

    Possible ?

going back to my original question on the epg, how do you modify the size of the plot font, you cant change it in the menu settings for crossepg and having experimented with some skins and skin.xml file as far as i can see you can only change the font size globally.

    Has anyone got any ideas.

Actually found it eventually in the Vix-HD skin xml under <screen name="GraphicalEPGPIG"> and also the <screen name="QuickEPG"> i noticed if a skin doesnt have the those elements within the skin then it defaults to the default skin to find it (maybe).

I just need to add those elements from the vix-hd skin into another skin.

    Good you found it!
But it is better to make this kind of adjustments in the file skin_user.xml in etc/enigma2
That way they are available for every skin you use and they will not be overwritten (and even be backed up by the settings backup)

But cant find a skin_user.xml in etc/enigma2 folder

In my case im about 12' away from my tv and find the text somewhat a strain to read, thats why i need to modify the xml.

No, but you can make one and place it there.

Attached you find an example of how such a file can look like. In it you see a number of "screens": delete the ones you don't want and add those you want to see. Basically you can copy them form another skin, and adjust items (such as font size).
If this is the first time you are going to mess around with such a file it can be a bit of a hassle: doesn't matter, just try it to get the hang of it, and come back with any questions you have.
