Vix 2.3 want a epg like this

Hi guys

Got my duo today with vix 2.3 installed on it, so totally new to it

Got as far as scanning sly channels, installing sly uk epg and VIX Silverfox0786 E2 HD SKY UK Bouquet sent over via ftp and created a picon folder in route and dragged all the channel logos there.

Now i get the icons showing up in the info box but not on the epg itself as thats just showing channel names.

Now i would like my epg to look like the images below.

Is it to do with what skin you use that changes the appearance or something in settings.

in the epg guide, press the menu button, and change the number of items to 5 or 6 (see which works best for you). Then, enable PiG (if you want a picture showing the current channel you're watching), and then enable picons. Then, exit out, and go back in...

Yes, it applies to all versions of vix and other epg guides with the same layout ie coolepg

Hi, i've done all the above but cant get to the pics of the channels show in the epg.

I dont have the option 'enable PiG'. Im using the Vix Day HD Skin, i just get the channel names and not logos. When can i get the logos from.
Am i missing a step ?

Have you downloaded the picons? Without them, there are no pictures to show

What i have done is using windows 7 on my laptop go to computer then network on the left and the vu+duo shows up and i can navigate to the route partition where i add a picon folder and copy all the icons over.

But another question ive managed to get my epg to look like the first sceenshot in my first post by pressing menu and altering the epg settings, but how would i alter the plot font size, i can alter the font size for all the other info but not the plot, i dont mind getting into the file structure on the hard drive to manually edit a xml file or something.

Make sure the name of the folder is "/picon".

Pity we cant get the channels to match up to the sly box so when you input 101 you get bbc one and 501 sky news etc as at the moment they dont match up.

thats the easiest part. just use a bouquet pack like the silverfox one as thats what it's made for.

Are yes i have but the channel bouqets start at channel 1 if i punch in 101 with the remote buttons i get a channel thats later in the bouquet.
