Well, I imagined that your A827 might be similar to my A825... looks like I'm wrong. According to this link:

    AVerMedia_AverTV_Hybrid_Volar_HX_(A827)

your device is based on the AF9013 chip. Might try some of the AF9015 drivers just in case they work...

I haven't seen any drivers for enigma2 that mention the AF9013 explicitly... you may need to purchase a more supported usb stick

I doubt whether anyone has this stick... you may have to actually try it out yourself. The answer is quite possibly that it won't work. I reckon you should go out and buy one that you know is supported (especially if you haven't got the time or inclination to experiment yourself).

If am not wrong, the A867R drivers were supported by VIX 2.2.... however disappeared on 2.3
Any reason for that? Can we get them back?
    Thanks

... I understand that and if I knew it, I would not be asking if it is supported... Anyway - I got it working with VIX 2.2 .... by installing the "Volar HD Nano" drivers
    Thanks

I already told you how to test the AF9015 drivers (closest thing to AF9013). If you are not prepared to tell us that you've tried this then I can't help you.

Highlight this package and press <OK> and follow the prompts to download etc. After a re-boot you should have a new plugin. Run this plugin to select the DTT driver to download. Once downloaded you can try to enable (within plugin) and then re-boot again. If the driver you selected is compatible with your stick you'll be in business... otherwise it'll be bad luck.

In my case, Avermedia TwinStar A825, the AF9035 drivers recognised the device and both tuners (C & D) showed up and work well. The SNR doesn't get displayed properly, but actual operation is fine.

    Good Luck.
Just leave the usb tuner plugged in. BTW all this I learned by trial and error... perhaps you can too.

Also you can try the AF9015 drivers that are supplied with Vix:

Further to the above, I searched through the various directories within Vix 2.3 image and found the following file:
    Code:
    \lib\firmware\dvb-fe-af9013.fw
As I said before, you should really have a look for yourself and try it out.

To use this, I imagine you would use the driver for AF9015 (as already suggested by SilverFox) and it will probably load the appropriate firmware for your AF9013 chipset.
