    Picture on the xtrend is fantastic.
    Did you try using a different hdmi lead? Some only output 720P, but even still it should be perfect.
    It is every bit as good as a blade 7000 which also is a good box by the way.
    Check also ur tv, is it 24hz ?
    Set your av to 16:9.

    Done all that i would have to go with both poor picture poor pixalizatin to Its as if the bigger the screen the worse it looks. The hd channels lol ok its the none hd. Am going to try having the 2 boxs running at the same time and try the box on the smaller bedroom tele

    Well yeah obviously, smaller pictures are higher definition, how can you compare receivers on 2 different teles

    I don't know what you doing mate but have the DUO, XT9K and XT5K and can hardly tell the difference in HD between the boxes. The XT is on a sammy 658 and DUo ON TX-P50G20B but before this it was also on the sammy and no difference to my eye and used the HDMI leads that came with the boxes. I have had them on just scale and Pillar and letterbox output as well but no difference is noticeable.

    Am not am comparing them both from the same 50" TV and my blade for some reason looks so much better specially on the none hd channels
