Cool Bootloader update 19-07-2011 With UBIFS support DOWNGRADE

Is it possible to downgrade Bootloader update 19-07-2011 With UBIFS support to one that has no UBIFS ( JFFS2 ), cause EgamiBoot 1.0 supports Images JFFS2 !! It does not support UBIFS YET?

    best regards

The UBIFS bootloader should be backwards compatible. If not just re-flash the older bootloader.

I´ve tried to reflash to the bootloader 19-05-2011 / with no UBIFS, but allways seems to have UBIFS support ( on booting ).

Your proberbly seeing the Xtrend boot image saying UBIFS cos the old bootloader your flashing has no bootlogo image.

I'd personally use the latest bootloader, it should be backwards compatible.

Are you using the last bootloader ... and in advance with thanks ... Have you tried to rollback bootloader to install and use EGAMIBOOT, with egami 1.3 on flash to use multiboot.

    best regards my friend

No, I've not tried the Egami image and I never bother with multiboot, never works as it should.

The latest bootloader should be backwards compatible, just try it. If not just flash older bootloader, simple

The bootloader does change, just the bootloader splash screen doesn't. In any case why do you want to downgrade bootloader??

That´s for testing egamiboot with multiboot options, i.e., to test other images, like Vu-Duo on multiboot plataforms.

    best regards
