I have a similar problem with reading the PAT. With all versions >020. After installing only VIX and reloading the channels through dreamboxedit. I only could the the startup channel. When zapping I got everywhere timout reading PAT. I reported this with version 5.0.021 and updated my thread. Sofar nobody found a solution.

Let's cross the fingers that somebody finds the bug.

    OK, thanks.
With OpenATV which version(s) work (6.0, 6.1?) and when did you try them? Epecially, when have you tried recently?
Just trying to identify when it has worked with OpenATV

    Dear all
I just installed 5.1.002 with USB flash and restored the 5.0.020 settings. Same PAT-time-out behaviour.

Here is the new debug log.
I think that developer team does not even bother to take this thing seriously.
Oh shit, I also flashed 5.1.002 yesterday.
So it will probably eventually back to 5.0.020 again. But I'll wait until I see the problem appear in my own box.

    Working fine with 6.1

    Updated 2017-08-18

BUT I today tested with latest Open ATV 6.1 (2017-11-21) and it does not work. It is even worse than OpenVix above .020 versions.
If I make same procedure I cant anymore get lock to channnel without starting enigma2 again !

Thanks, very interesting - thats a big help and points to one update in both ViX (in 021) and then included later in a big update to OpenATV at the end of September.

If you are fault finding, you normally try to keep things as "clean" as possible. So no restores, bare minimum install.
