    telnet in to your box and type "df -h". Will tell you whether your hdd is successfully mounted and how much space etc... Results will look like:

    thx m8 yes its mounted all ok,but ive think i sorted it.it was formatted fat32 on spiderbox so i formatted into linux and i think its done
