File sharing

I have a vu+ Ultimo4k as my main receiver with a hdd and 2 other boxes (a duo2 and a zero) also on the network which I use to watch programs recorded on the Ultimo. After the upgrade to 006, the share stopped working. I get media/AUTOFS/Ultimo folder not found if I try to access the Ultimo's share. The folder does exist. I checked my network settings and everything seemed ok so I went back to build 004 and it worked again.

Both the Duo2 and the Zero have 6.4.006 installed and seem fine but if I put 6.4.006 on the Ultimo the share stops working. Any ideas?

same problem on the duo2 .Anoying and gone back to .4 also and working fine .Checked NFS;Samba etc and all actif

Yes '/etc/exports' is missing, you can take it from 6.4.004 and copy it to 6.4.006.

see that 6.4.007 is available and will do upgrade tomorrow morning

just updated to latest and file sharing does not work on any of the boxes.Copying etc/export file from older image and oke so in update 007 it is not implamented yet

I have Vu+ Uno4K SE and Vu+ Ultimo4K and file sharing is working OK with both of them, OpenViX 6.4.007. You can open the image with WinRar and chech if the exports file is there.

Much easier is to use DCC.
