    EPG text size.

    VU+ Duo 4K se, Vix 5.4.12

Is it possible to increase the font size of the text in the top LH window of EPG Grid (programme details and list of actors)? The text never fills more than half the window so there is room for a font twice the size of that used.
I work on the principle that a small font can only be read by someone with near perfect eyesight, a large font can be read by everyone who can read.

    Thanks and regards,
    Mike.

Hi Raif and thanks for your reply.
    The skin is VIX-night-HD.
There are font size settings for Event, Service and Timeline but nothing for ‘Programme Description’ (or whatever its correct name is) window. All fonts are set to max (10).
    Regards, Mike.

I use the attached skin_usr.xml to increase the grid epg font size.
Just copy to /etc/enigma2/ and restart gui.

    skin_user_ViX-Night-HD.xml

    VU+ Duo 4k se. Openvix 5.4.12 Skin VIX-Night-HD.

Hi Willo 3092, thanks for your reply.
Sadly I have fallen at the first fence. I set up LAN connection on VU+ for the first time and have a green tick for all five settings in Network Test.
Having downloaded winSCP on old PC with windows 7 and connected with LAN, I entered the following on winSCP:
File Protocol- FTP, Host Name- vuduo4kse, Port No. 21 (default), User Name- root, Password- left blank.
The winSCP detects New Site (even when the STB is on standby) but will not login. Have tried various combinations of encryptions ,and I even setup a network password on STB and tried that, but to no avail.
Sorry to ask for help on something so basic, but I am getting desperate.
    Thanks,
    Mike.

You can put it on a usb stick and copy to /etc/enigma2/ with dreamexplorer from plugins.
You need to set a password in MENU > SETUP > NETWORK > PASSWORD
enter a password and press the green button to save it.
You should be able to log in with root/your password.

You will also need Samba installed and running:

    MENU > SETUP > NETWORK > UTILITIES > SAMBA

Hi Willo3092, it's me again, Thanks for your last reply.
Followed your directions, got to /enigma 2/, but don't know which folder to choose after that. I tried epg.dat and got nothing.
    Thanks for you patience.
    Regards, Mike.
