    Can someone tell me what I need to convert my VU+Solo SE V2 Cable to Freesat, if possible ?

    If it has plugin tuner card you need a Sat tuner

    Odd position for the tuner and maybe its fixed,hmm freeview via aerial and using a supported usb sat tuner i think.

    Vu+ DVB-S2 Single Sat Tuner about £30 on fleabay should do the trick on your box just need to flash openvix and away you go

    You should have a leaflet with your box showing which types of cards it will accept. Not all cards will fit.

    You won't need to flash image again.
