Is it possible to adjust resolution via OpenWebif?

I've taken my SF4008 to my parents to share with them, some recorded programmes. They have quite an old HD TV and when I turn on the Octagon the OpenVix screensaver briefly appears on screen then all I am left with a blank screen.

I am wondering if my parents old TV can not handle the resolution output of the SF4008?

Via my laptop I can access OpenWebif but could not identify if there was an ability to lower the resolution of the SF4008's resolution. Can anyone offer a suggestion please?

A workaround is I can play the programmes to my Laptop using OpenWebif and casting that to my parents TV but its all a bit fiddly. My parents live in a remote area and I am here for two weeks so no chance to find a later model TV to try and change the SF4008 settings. Thanks for any advice.

There is a settings section on openwebif (OWIF). However, I cannot see the display menu.

Even if the TV cannot display the screen/menu, you can still see it on openwebif (OWIF). There is a remote to the left of the screen in OWIF. Make sure that you do not disable grab screenshot option. You can then use the virtual remote to naviagte through the menus.

Perfect Abu Baniaz, your solution worked!

On the virtual keypad, below the number "7" is a "menu" button and I navigated menu/setup/Audio & Video/Settings/Mode and dropped the resolution down to 720p and that did the trick. All up and running on my parents elderly TV.

Thanks again for your really helpful advice and solution. I do appreciate it.
