Xtrend ET8500 - Should I be using the latest version of CCcam

I have never updated my CCcam from the 3.2.0. version. Will I gain anything from updating to the latest version?
I am currently using the latest Openvix image in case that matters. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me whereto download the version I need.
    Thanks in advance.

Images contain softcams so it depends if it is listed there or on other image versions.
If it works ok dont mess is my motto.

I have found an Openvix CCcam version 2.3.2 on this site.

    http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/downloads/softcams/

It is the top one on the list.

If I loaded this using Filezilla, can someone say if I was to leave the other (version 2.3.0) in place as well, can I switch back to that one if the later one does not function properly.
    Cheers.

Take an image backup, then you can get back to where you were before if you're not happy.

Your original post mentions 3.2.0 which I assume is a typo.

Yes sorry, it was a typo. Should have been 2.3.0.
    Thanks for the advice.
