    Recommend a quad tuner (DVB-S2 / DVB-T / DVB-C)

I own a GB Quad+. My configuration is:
    2 x DVB-S2
    1 x DVB-T
    1 x DVB-C

I have a friend who wants the same setup.

What box is available that will do the same thing?
    I have found this one:
    https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk...ue_uhd_quad_4k
And there is a crazy expensive one from VU+ which is too dear.

I don't want a triple tuner with an external USB tuner ... all tuners must be internal

    Thanks

They do not sell the xtrend 10000 or mut@nt hd2400 nowadays. You might have to check to see if anyone selling second hand

Apart from the Ultimo4K, you won't get a new receiver with three types of internal tuners.

You are probably correct, ... perhaps Sicilian can respond as he has the Giga UE .... on the twin C/T2 tuner it just says switchable by software ..... don‘t know if that means each side of the tuner selectable and switchable.

.... I'm pretty sure its either a twin DVB-C tuner or a twin DVB-T2 tuner. The bottom connector is loop out.

If you want to use DVB-S/S2, DVB-C and DVB-T/T2 you'll have to stretch to the VU+ Ultimo 4K.

Gigablue UHD UE and Quad 4K have 2x fixed satellite FBC tuners and ONE tuner slot. You could install the twin Hybrid tuner, but both tuner would have to be configured to either DVB-C or DVB-T/2. Twin Hybrid on Gigablues requires one feed and splits to two internally. You have input and loop out connectors.

Wow! Thanks for all the info.
That's very disappointing. £469 for the VU+ Ultimo 4K is a bit of a stretch.

If 4K isn't that important to you the XTrend ET8500 is worth looking at.
It has a 1.3Ghz dual core CPU, gigabit network socket, internal 2.5" HDD, four plug and play tuners which can be swapped out for virtually any combination, and it has a 4.3" front display. You can also install 2 images into flash if using the dual boot bootloader. I have VIX and OpenPli on mine so i can play with one image and use the other for general viewing.

Its a weird looking box when you first look at it due to its odd size, but its a worthy contender for your needs

I have my main one ( I have 2 ) set up with 2x DVB-C/T2 tuners, 2x DVB-S2 tuners and a USB External DVB-T2 tuner and it works really well. Granted its probably no longer the most upto date receiver compared with the ones now available but its still a very good box for the money. I dont think WOS sells them any more as they are no longer listed on their site, but they still sell the tuners which are very competitively priced.

Whether they can still get them in is a question you will need to ask if you consider one.

I don't like the form factor of the ET8500. My brother has an ET10000 and it's a great receiver and a better form factor IMHO.

I know I said I didn't want an external USB tuner but I might be forced to change my mind.

    Would this work:
    https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk...er/formuler_f1
    with one of these:
    https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk...-HD-DVB-C-T-T2
even though the F1 is not listed has one of the receivers that was tested
