Hi All
Just wondering if a USB is needed to store the EPG on if you use a zap timer to the PVR channel every night only???? I know a USB isn't needed for a swap file.
Thanks

Where do you create a swap file?
You need to store your epg data somewhere and I hope you are not storing to your flash (Internal Flash)? USB or HDD to store your epg. The Edison OS-mini doesn't need a swap file either....

I'm thinking are they needed that's all. So the internal memory not big enough to store the stream EPG every 24hrs say is that possible? I know Stef said swap file not needed

I'd advise to store EPG data on USB rather than fill up internal flash.
