If you search on here, it's still in plugins but changed name recently to something beginning with 'M' instead of 'V' lol. A weird name!

You'll have to use an older image the still has the older vuplus-kodi in plugin feeds.

I had v16 and was working ok on my vuduo2, but, i tried to upgrade it using one of the plugins in kodi (i know , i know, probably not the greatest idea)
, and its done it but it runs very slowly i want to revert. can i revert kodi easily? or fix the version with one that we know works? or would you recommend that users should ditch 4.2 and upgrade to openvix v5 for beter compatability with kodi 17.1?

think maybe the issue could be down to the nebula skin it installed, considering removing the skin directory in the kodi dir.

    Kodi 17 for vu+duo2

Fresh flash ViX 5.0.011. Uninstall Kodi via the feeds. Delete the .kodi (hidden) HDD folder and install Kodi 17.1 from the feeds.

You will be able to restore from a backup, thats why I mentioned deleting Kodi plugin beforehand. Then you can update to 5.0.11 and when prompted you can restore your settings & plugins. Then on restart you can install 17.1 from the plugins. Reason I say to delete the .kodi folder is because of some peeps have had problems, but you can try leaving the .kodi folder to start with if you prefer.

.Kodi file is hidden file on your hdd. You can find it by making filezilla show hidden files or by downloading dream explorer from plugins/extensions and using that to find it
