Samsung TV Satellite Connection and Channel List

    Hello All,

I got my new samsung TV and had a spare transponder from my sat dish so connected it up and get Freesat which is good.

However, how do I do a channel list for it for SkyUK? Anyone any ideas or have one already following Skys format?

    Thanks,

    James.

Why a sky channel list? The Tv won't decrypt the sky channels, that's why there is no support to create a sky list.
If you want the channels in any other order than freesat you will have to create a custom list and add them manually one by one.
The days of Side loading Oscam onto Samsung TV's seems to have gone.

Try a Youtube Video - there are a few that show how to re-arrange the order

Google "youtube samsung tv sort channel list"
    Xtrend ET10K, 2 x satellite tuners 28.2 (Sky FTA), 2 x hybrid (UK Freeview), Zgemma H9S (satellite)

LOL on my TV they are just in the same order as freesat.
As i said you will have to either create a custom list in that order or rearrange the all scanned list (it won't let you re-arrange the freesat list as next time there is an ota update they will be back to normal) ,there is no editor or way to upload a list on newer Samsung TV's, older ones you could do all sorts too.
I used to have a Panasonic Plasma that if you edited the eeprom you could turn it into a German model which would then give you iso calibration options, only thing the satellite channel list was allover the place, i used to set out to rearrange the channel list and i don't think i ever got passed doing 40 channels, it was mind numbing LOL.

    THanks....

Following what you said, and as mine are all in dissaray I went back into settings, I done a scan on 28 east satellite all channels, when you select Freesat, it puts them in order.

Scanned in Freesat and all in perfect order. So thanks !!!!!!!

The Samsung TV has the ability to control my motor --- wowowowow.... So it could effectively watch Freesat and FTV channels on all satellites that are watchable.

    James.
