was only asking, that's all, I think I said a lot of people leave them on 24/7, but in reality going by your words which I trust, then it means in theory there really is no advantage or dis-advantage to leaving on 24/7 or switching onto standby mode apart from just a few pennies etc per year in electricity costs by the sound of it which means nothing to the point anyway.

So yeah man, thanks for the info, interesting to know that now as I was always one of the ones that went for normal standby mode when the tv is off, but in reality I don't even need to do that, hmmm, sounds good to me, saves me having to try and remember all the time, lol.
