    curious if in time we might get abm working over here as just getting error message no tuner lock.cheers

    no it was for scanning on as like channel info. i cannot get abm to work,thinking i am missing other things to get it working?

    might end up with a good box running kodidirect then,thought i read an old post saying you dont need a file and could use abm to scan on.

    If you have a DVB-C tuner you can scan manually and it will tune to the streams. Doesn't mean you can decrypt the stream.
    ABM on cable is probably more developed for UK and some continental european cable systems. I don't think much (or any?) work has been done for the Irish cable environment which is mostly (only?) UPC. eircom have their IPTV offering and possibly Vodafone will offer next.

    I have a Panasonic tv which has a hybrid tuner in it and when I plugged in a upeeec feed and scanned it pulled in all the channels but as you say nothing was clear. Went through them all and find just a few clear (see above) but I think they are mistakes as they seem to be duplicates with no epg on them - but still working a few months on.
