    Mediaportal wont install

    Hi all anyone have this problem or solution mediaportal not installing in Hades .007

    i use dcc but not sure what it is i am suppose to do

    Hi,
    DCC has a telnet client. Look on the bottom left. A window with text cursor should open and there you enter the 3 lines from post #2.

    tried the telnet in dcc but still no joy installing it not sure wat im doing wrong

    simplest way to do it, is to start a CMD prompt in your PC - I assume you have a Windows based PC. Go to Start and run CMD. Then type in "telnet 192.168.0.NNN" - ie the address of your box. Then run the init and opkg commands from post #2.

    With telnet you should use puTTY. Much easier to use just DCC for both ftp and telnet. With DCC you can configure all settings for your home-network and your box. Then ftp and telnet use is very easy.
