    Vix 1.3 picons??

    Hi.

    I have just installed vix 1.3 and i downloaded and installed picons from the download plugins section.

    I have some picons missing. Is i possible to manualy add the ones that are missing?

    yes you will need to ftp them to the box, but if you go into the engima 2 section and download silverfox's E2 picons there all in they, assuming your on 28.2 if not ignore

    Thank you stanman. Is there an easy guide on how ftp them to the box. I have DCC installed on my pc but just not sure on what folders to ftp them to.

    get a USB Stick plug it into back usb slot and go to

    Menu, Setup, VIX Menu, Device manager

    Press Yellow to format [think its yellow]
    Then RED to Mount and mount it to /media/usb

    then create a folder called picon

    once that is done use filezilla or dcc and transfer the png picon files over [filezilla is better than dcc and is basically the same]

    NOte if your USB is FAT32 and under 2GB then it can stay FAT32 no need to format

    I have my picons setup so they are stored on my hdd. Can i just send them straight to the folder they are stored on? If so do you know what location the folder is in? Cheers.

    yes you can send to hdd the folder is picon it will be in /media/hdd/picon

    much better to have them on USB otherwise HDD will be running everytime you change channels

    I do have permanent timeshift enabled m8. I thought it would work like that. Thank you for clearing that one up for me :O)
