    Thumbs up Auto bouquets I think

    Hi there absolute beginner, I got Vu solo2 a lot of channels not working, try auto bouquets but keeps coming up with tuner time out. I think this the prob but don't know where to go from here. Please help only had the box 5 days off you guys

    In what way are they not working, is the receiver throwing a message?

    First of all are you trying to scan via a satellite dish (dvb-s/s2) or via a tv ariel (dvb-t), because you have posted this with the dvb-t tags ?.

    What do you physically have connected to the receiver in terms of dish/lnbs. Describe for each tuner separately.

    What is each tuner configured as in the tuner config section. Please answer separately for each tuner too.

    Hi I have one link from my sky sat dish into my solo2 and the other link still in my existing skyhd box.

    The configuration. Tuners a bcm7356dvb-s2nim internal dvb-s2
    28.2e eutelsat 28a & Astra 2a/2e/2f

    go into the tuner setup page and make sure it's setup as

    Simple
    Single
    28.2 east
    NO.

    then exit back out and tune to say BBC1 and try ABM again also how have you set ABM up ?.

    also while we are on the subject, which channels are not working ? for example free to air channels ?, pay tv channels only ? or all of them ?.

    Done that with tuner but 'NO.' Don't match that bit the rest is same.

    Abm? Is that auto bouquets?

    Autobouquetsmaker, then start scan and then comes up with timeout for tuner lock

    ABM = AutoBouquetsMaker It's built into the ViX Image by default. Although we are still trying to establish exactly what channels are not working.

    Also make sure if you do not have a cable connected to tuner B you try disabling it and than trying thenscan
