Yes, in that basic case, one tuner would be used for viewing on TV & if what's streaming isn't still available on that tuner, the second tuner will be used.
The more tuners, the better...
just FYI, I have a VU+ Solo 2 that has two tuners also so can confirm this works. I am still struggling to get VU+ streamer to work externally using just a dyndns.org address. if I resolve the IP manually it works but clearly the process should mean that is unnecessary. the developer say its not relevant but it will not save without any IP address, and if it has an out of date one it fails..... .
