    my setup is rather basic.

ABM which is preloaded into ViX
    CrossEPG same as above
    OnDemand from the ViX feeds
CCcam, Oscam, MGcam ( depending in the receiver ).

and thats it bar testing specific plugins of features on all of my receivers.

my setup is likewise basic. cccam, crossepg and tsmedia. of the three plugins only crossepg is supplied as a download on the vix plugin stream. so I have a request. I totally get the idea that vix will only supply plugins on its stream that it considers appropriate. on this basis you must use the vix cam pack on the world-of satellite website to manually install a cam. so if vix has an issue with plugins being in the feed could they then create a sticky thread with available other plugins that they do not wish to supply within the feed (as they do with the vix cam sticky). it saves users much torture looking across the internet for plugins that work on the vix platform.

in truth, with the oncoming new release of vix, I have no wish to upgrade as I have no idea what plugins will in fact work on this new system. will I be able to load cccam, will I be able to load tsmedia. there are simply no guarantees so what does the new system offer. a new kernel and not much else. please keep this in mind

All plugins that currently work should still work, if any don't we need users like yourself to let us know as we can't possibly test every plugin that someone might use.

you wont even notice the difference between ViX 3.0 and it's successor barring a new boot screen, and there is no kernel update either, all the changes are with the Core of the image ( OUR OE ) as we now build our own so have no reliance on Pli, our Enigma2 is still loosely based on pli but thats as far as it goes.

Plugins as judge says should still work as there has been nothing changed in this respect but of course we need people to tell us when they dont. The choice to upgrade as with all previous Image revisions is yours to make, but when the new image is released we will cease all support for ViX 3.0. There will be no further updates or fixes for ViX 3.0 but we will maintain the plugin feeds for the time being as we do with older images.

hear what you say. I was one of the lucky ones that downloaded tsmedia when it was within the plugin feed. so right upto release 608 it works fine. if I switch to new vix I have no idea where to search for tsmedia that works on your new platform. hence the reason I request a sticky (or multiple stickies) that supply addons that are not supplied in primary feed. just a request

No idea why all the fuss about "supported plugins" TSmedia does and always has worked just fine with ViX, we removed it from our feeds for legal reasons, IE it's totally illegal and with the current crack down on piracy we cant take the risk that we could end up in court or worse for hosting it. Most plugins work perfectly fine in ViX same as with other images with the odd rare exception, but even then it's not our fault, it's down to the plugins author to ensure his plugins work with ViX not ours, hence the name plugin.

Am I missing something? I'm on latest build and I can still get TS Media (4.6) from Plugins - Extensions. Quick press of a green button and it's at the latest 4.9.

yes correct, although in my opinion TSmedia should also be removed for the same reasons.

strangely I agree with you phoenix. the tsmedia plugin offers abuse of a system that should not be allowed. hence the reason for a secondary database of plugins. I have no idea of porncentre plugin other than I have never wanted or wished to use it. so why is that plugin in the primary stream. it strikes as the type of plugin that not be in the main vix feeds. maybe you might look at what should be there and what shouldn't be there

Were constantly looking to see what we should and should not have in the feeds, but it takes man power and some one to dedicate their free time to such a project. That's not easy when trying to fit it in around daily life.
