    New boot screen ideas

    Hi all vix team is looking into the idea of a new boot screen image.
    please could you post your ideas and suggestions here..and you never know yours might get selected
    Now wouldn't that be cool....

    I will kick off with an image called stratosphere.

    Obviously this should go without saying but please use common sense when posting potential bootscreen ideas, nothing pornographic or offensive etc.

    You should turn this into a competition, winner gets a voucher from the sponsor and there boot screen used in future releases.

    ok, im up for trying my hand at this. What programme is used to do this?
    Vix image (usually latest) - VU Solo 4K- WD 1TB INTERNAL HDD - DVB-T Freeview, trialling IPTV options

    use any paint program to make the jpeg then use dreambox logo creator to make it into a .mvi

    ive tryed to change the vix bootlogo before pheonix , it changed np but still showed the original vix one. how do you stop that

    depends on which screen your talking about, if it's the very first black OpenViX logo thats a splash screen and has to be flashed by USB the rest can be changed via FTP.

    no not the splash screen, the actual boot logo. i had a diffrent one with the mvi file etc and changed it but it showed the new one and the original vix one

    you need to make 2 mvi files one boot logo and one backdrop of the image and ftp to user/share and overwrite the two excising mvi files.
