    Boot problems

    Hi Guys

After many faultless years my 7000 is booting up into test mode(says test on the front panel)it is just a locked green screen the buttons and remote disabled

I have never read anything about this so I am stuck as what to do next

I downloaded and ran the download tool from here, loaded and sent the .bin file but still have the problem.

Is the spider similar to other boxes that when we reboot and hold in say the power key it goes into another mode. I ask this because the buttons are on the top front of this box and the tv may have been on the switches when I booted up(only guessing) and locked it into test mode.

    thanks for reading

    cheers

I have moved on but I cant see the point in having a good box standing idle. I have now found that my box is in QC mode which is for engineers. Now working my way to a solution. I am quite pleased to say that I do not believe in a throw away society. I also still run x3 sd5000's and x6 hd 9000's which are all doing the job quite nicely. I have however ditched my Humax 5400's so I have moved on lol

To be honest most people wont help those with spiderboxes because of what they represent with their so called gift.
