No longer able to connect to VU Duo outside network.

I have a few apps that I use to control my VU outside my network, DreamDroid as an example. For some reason I can no longer connect, my host name is working and all relevant ports are open but none are operational anymore. If I use the app within my network all is OK, I am at a loss to understand what has changed to cause this issue.

Would appreciate any views or suggestions.

    Using current Vix

Nope, all OK with my IP address. My host name is working within my network, it is only outside there is a problem.

It gives the impression there is a port issue, but I am sure all the required ones are open, very strange.

    Thanks for the reply.

Go to the port checker and it will tell you if the port can be seen from outside the network.

    HTML Code:
    http://www.canyouseeme.org/
Also your box IP has not changed as that would also stop it as pointing to the wrong IP.

You may be onto something; one of my ports is showing as closed, further investigation is required.

After pulling what was left of my hair out, I finally found the problem. My smartphone must have some sort of corruption and would open on port 80, a factory reset has resolved this issue and now I can use some software outside my network on all my open ports.
