    will this work?

    So im sitting twiddling thumbs waiting for delivery, dish is up motor fitted pointing south i hope! if i run a temp coax from a free-sat TV to the dish, will the sat meter be able to utilise the power from free-sat to fine tune to south? or should i just calm down and wait.
