@lynd145 and gordyboy, what you are posting is not going to help us resolve your issue. We need the crashlogs and a step by step how to re-create the crash.

    Hi,
Same here! Having many issues since the bootloader update...
I've only had one black screen out of many box lockups. I can't find any crash logs newer than December 2011. Where are they located?
    Cheers,
    Gavin

    Hi,
OK... I've read there's a bug that deletes the crash log when you restart the GUI or the box. To get round this you need to set DEBUG LOGS to ENABLE in the log manager.
    Cheers,
    Gavin

    i) Settings/bouquets used?

    Hi,
Ok, here it is. Box locked up when switching on with remote. VIX logo spinning slow and then fast, then box came into life on a different channel to the one it was on when I switched it off.

Just to clarify: there are two kinds of crashes.

1- An Enigma2 crash. When this happens a black screen will show, Enigma restarts and a crashlog is produced.

2- A system crash. When this happens the box freezes (= dead), doesn't respond to anything. The VFD will be frozen at the time of death. No log is produced and the only way to get the box alive is to pull the plug.

In both cases the debug logs can be very useful. Be sure to have them activated if you experience problems and want to help to sort them out.

What USB tuner are you using? Did you have a recording set through your USB tuner?

    Hi,
I'm not using one. I did install drivers for one at some point but never purchased a USB tuner in the end.
I had got timers set for around the time I switched the box on.
I thought I'd reflashed since though...
    Cheers,

    Gavin
