The only receivers that suffered with that issue where the ET9x00 series pre-siliverline.
None of the VU+ receivers suffer or have suffered with that issue. I'd personally go with a Ultimo, DM7020HD is just way over priced.

I got Vu Ultimo but It has bad tuner compared to db7020HD tuner especially at high Ku band
