first install any other version of cccam.
in cccam 2.3.0 rename cccam.mipsel.your new file name must exactly match with your cccam file in usr/bin folder.then replace it(your file in usr/bin) with new one.then set its attribute as 755.in the end start your emu.
this method works in vu+

Actually, for ViX image, just extract the binary file to /use/softcam/ and chmod to 755. Then it will be shown in softcam manager...

yup - for me i renamed the mipsel version (took the .mipsel off the end) transferred it over alongside the other one and renamed it CCcam_2.2.1 and then chmodded it to 777 - over to the vu and and swtiched over, livened it up and then restarted the box - works fine - other receivers round the house all auto connected back to it. you can leave the old one alongside it also just in case there's any problems. Hope that helps anyone looking in.

Yes would prefer the actual pik file makes life a lot easier
