Pause/Rewind not working when selecting channel from EPG while watching recording

Pause/Rewind works perfect for me normally but there is one scenario where it doesn't.

    1. Play a program that was recorded earlier.
    2. While watching the program, hit "Guide"
    3. Select a live program - this causes the recorded program to stop playing and live TV to play

After #3, timeshift is not working. Pause/Rewind of live TV does not work.
If I change channels, Pause/Rewind works as expected.

    My TimeShift setting are:
    - start Timeshift are 2 seconds.
    - save Time shift to hdd (internal 512GB SSD)

Seems to be a bug. Tried it on my Solo2 and it does what you described.
I fact you can't even change channels with the + - buttons!

    Thanks for verifying spanner123.

This is a common use case for my wife and it's driving her nuts!

I noticed something similar a long while ago, but not involving timeshift.

After the sequence above, stop returns you to the movie list, something it doesn't "normally" do.

If I could find a way of resuming the recording while watching live tv, then I guess I'd call it a handy feature.

Can anyone point me at the roughly the Python source that switches to Live TV after watching a recording?
I'm happy to take a look

I've been on OpenATV since I posted the above message.
Has it been fixed on vix?
