OK... my ongoing saga with the Octagon SF4008 (which I now hate) . Latest openvix running , bouquets set up for UK free view, iptv set up. Runs really well UNTIL I do a power cycle (ie switch it off and on again) after which it forgets everything .... and I do mean everything! ... bouquets gone , iptv gone ... it's like the box just forgets! ..... any advice whatsoever please aside from sell it !

How do you switch it off? Explain the procedure.

It must be your IPTV script. Or as suspected above, shutting down issue.

Using the power switch at the back , obviously only when it's crashed though lol ..... as I said it runs fine until I have to do a full power cycle .... happy for a VIX programmer to look at the iptv code (the one I use over PUTTY) to install the IPTV service if that helps?

I run my own builds and tend to beat my boxes up badly ... never had an issue with the SF4008, an extremely solid receiver .... afraid you need to look at what you are doing and talk to the outfit you are obviously using ....
