Only hope will be Oscam if it is to do with the ECM change, as its the only softcam that is maintained unlike Mgcamd & CCCam where they are not maintained. Only time will tell. Tues & Thurs are the days Sky do the changes, maybe more will go tomorrow......

What Andy is saying is if the peeps that maintain Oscam can do something about it they will and Oscam users will benefit. As Mgcamd and CCCamd is not maintained by anyone it will not be 'updated' to what would be needed.

Also to add, this has been reported to Oscam. everyone needs to wait and see.

Most important is DON'T PANIC. Countermeasures have happened before, just think back to the Eurovox days where they went off for Days at a time and the forums were full off "It's gone for good" messages only for it to return. Both Sky UK and Sky Italy blocked cards from being read in unofficial boxes for a period before the OScam guys (and NewCS at the time) fixed it.

Some people are saying they have implemented icam which blacked out Sky Italy, well Sky Italy had to replace many older boxes/cards before that happened. Cards are still working in the older Sky+ (Non-HD) and even the very early Pace boxes, so that is unlikely.

More channels may go this way with encoder upgrades from Sky/NDS, but give the OScam guys some time.

according to the link i posted previous it does not seem to be to big of a deal......... the link suggested that it was an issue regarding the OSCAM not being able to read the ECM length. this requires updating from the OSCAM devs and then the world will rotate once more, as end users all we can do is sit tight.... so we need to go get out boxes from out of the skips and cancel that sly order

Put sly sports news channel on tv it will be blank press tv button on remote highlight sly sports news dont press it but press red button on remote you will see a list of sly sports news highlight the 2nd one down and press ok if this fails repeat and try 3rd etc... might need to do a service scan if none found and repeat above steps

Sky Italia introduced a two way encryption awhile back which has proved to be effective on Cs it's nds+icam

As for ICAM, it has yet to be 'cracked' since its implementation on Sky Italia!

Although in the case of Sky UK, there are some old SD boxes which could be dumped and worked on I suppose.

Question is, will anyone bother to do it considering the quality is not HD and the channels themselves may be removed from transmission shortly after!
