Possible lcd display issue with 5.0.004 on VU+ DUO2

    Hi,

After upgrading to 5.0.004 from 5.0.003 I have noticed the LCD display on my DUO2 now only shows the channel name of the live TV channel I am watching. No picicons or other info is displayed. The LCD panel does display the normal information when playing back recordings, so this issue is only occuring when watching live TV (DBV-T/T2) channels. No satelite or cable for me due to cost and geographical location.

Has anyone else noticed this? I am pretty sure this was working in 5.0.003 and 100% sure it was working in 5.0.002.

LCD4Linux was actually disabled on my Duo2 after the upgrade/reboot. I re-enabled it but the program name was written over the top of everything else and the tuner information wasn't present. Fortunately, I had a backup, which I restored and all was well again.

If you have a backup of 5.0.003 then you could run that and save LCD4Linux settings (press menu when in LCD4Linux), then restore the settings to 5.0.004

    Edit, 5.0.006 now

Thanks all. I manged to do my own setup, but may look through the backups to see if I can find the original as my attempt at setting it up is pretty bad.
Also, I've just noticed the thread Scilian created here

which I'll give a shot at.

    Once again,

    thanks to all who replied

I didn't need to set mine up again. The backup I had was 18 months old but it restored ok and has been fine since.

I re-saved it and the new file is a bit bigger than the original. Not sure why that should be as they are exactly the same settings?
