USB Wi-FI issues with the new Kernel upgrade on 4.2.027

I've mentioned this in another thread, but I think it's time for a new thread.

I'm using a GigaBlue USB 2.0 WiFi 300Mbps adapter Plug & Play USB 2.0. WLAN adapter (RTL8192cu), and it's been 100% fine until the update to 4.2.027.

Every type of access (telnet, playback to a fire tv, windows explorer) now exhibit symptoms.

The simplest example is copying and pasting a file in windows explorer from the ET10k to my pc.

    4.2.026 transfers at about 6Mb/s.

4.2.028 transfers at 200Kb/s, sometimes reaching 2Mb/s, sometimes dropping to zero, and sometimes losing contact altogether.
At this point windows loses the ET10K, and the pc needs rebooting to get it back.

A wired Ethernet connection on 4.2.028 runs fine at about 11.5Mb/s.

(ps I put 4.2.028 in the build number header, but it got truncated.)
