Box turned up today great service from wos as always so far very happy with it need to add HDD not easy with builders hands

Been testing a unit here today, a number if changes for the SF4008 added today.

mine turned up to, thank you WOS, just fitted a 1TB hdd. not turned on yet, will do that later.
was expecting a user manual, but only a quick start guide in the box.

No user manual for me also but flashed atv 6 took about 1 min its not the easiest to navigate (menus hidden in menus) but got there if your a old hand like me at E2 its straight forward did most of the settings via the colored buttons.

Only one word for this box is wowwwwwwwww super fast! its like night and day compared to my old Ultimo

To be fair, even a Zero feels fast compared to the original Ultimo

Just got my box and looks great but without openvix I am lost.

Is there any image available that has ABM and Oscam in the feeds?
Also some stuff on the menu still in German

Got mine flashed with openeight, never tried it before.
If i can,t fathhom it i,ll switch to atv6, until of course the vixteam produce thier image.

Openeight is pli based but to simple needs to much to be manually adding I would recommend the atv6 till vix makes a appearance everything you need in the feeds apart from cams and ABM

atv6 it is then.
when flashing do have to press channel up (on booting) when promted ?
or is it a differant key press.

Spoke too soon and without looking.
Googled Oscam and installed it. ABM and cross EPG were on the plugins.
All set and working, so far so good.

I've just managed to set mine up using openatv 6.0 but I have a constant recording icon on the front of the receiver, anyone else got this?

Its a software bug on atv 6 try changing this setting at the bottom of the recording menu settings see pic
