Image modified ViX with OE-40 and drivers from 8th Feb 2017
Running in 1080I (seem to have lost 1080p for some reason ...will have to look into it.
Running boxmode with Pip (no HDR ....... will test tomorrow on 2160)

Great remote compared to Mutant HD51
Same cheapo box casing and plastic front as Mutant HD51.
... and as everybody has said, feet could do with being bigger
Fitting HDD ...... 13 screws ... haven,t they learned from Xtrend ET8500 (5 for casing, 4 for removing caddy, 4 for HDD and screw them all back)
....... also cabling could be better.
Picture vs HD51 similar (good) .... although even SD looks pretty good
CrossEPG (28.2) and EPGimporter(19.2E) .... seems much faster than HD51

    channel/service zapping ..... slower than HD51
Tuner sensitivity .... looks promising but will need to check later today when some services disappear on ET8500 and on HD51

Apart from that look like normal ViX EPG etc all good.
Just about to try and sort OScam if I can before wife arrives home from work (or it will wait until tomorrow

Bug was frontend "0", (i.e. tuner A) so manual scan options would show on second tuner. You need to build again. And then get some grabs of SF4008 doing multistream scans in OpenViX.

sd pics look great HD is very good 4K was excellent on the euro test channels we tried

GUI restarts takes seconds full restarts are also really fast

atv 6 is good image needs some work to find all the settings you cant beat Vix for simplicity

    Update to post #181:

    Oscam up and worked.
    1080P fixed!
I think full restart is slower than HD51 but as bassethound quotes gui restart is fast.
So off to pick up my wife

Well, I am kind of an "in between" mood...
The Mutant HD51 is now my main receiver (having today replaced a ET8500) in the lounge and I have to say at 1080p on my Panasonic 55inch, its the best picture I have ever had .,,,,,, so it's going to be interesting.

I bought the SF4008 for all the blurb on acquiring weak services/channels, but so far although it locks briefly it cannot pull the signal in.

So starting to wonder if all the blurb was good marketing!

    We will see!

    P.S.
I have to say that the support/service for the SF4008 from Octagon has been superb .... IF Vu+ came any where close to this level there would be NO competition .... but it will never happen!
