    Multiple Turbo tuners

    Hi
Running open vix 4 2 020 on vu+ solo2 with a turbo tuner for dvbt channels with great results. But have just added a second turbo and find only one shows up in tuner configuration menu. Both tuners show red led and get tune failed message. Have tested both tuners individually and both work fine when connected individually but not when together. The box will work fine with multiple USB tuners as the turbo happily works alongside a wintv nova stick but would prefer to use the turbo for hd channels.
Any ideas for a solution would be appreciated.

I'm not sure how VU+ does the driver for the Turbo, but i know as a Sundtek user that they has a company (i think if i remember correctly) they had to do a lot of work to get their driver to support 2+ DVB-C/T2 sticks in the same box as they both want to grab the frontend, ie both want to be master.
The other thing you could try is a powered USB 2.0 hub just in case the are not quite getting enough power to start them both

Hey, I am looking to get a second VU USB Tuner myself, mine works well, but reading your post "psul" maybe I should get the Suntek instead! Can I mix the two?
    Cheers

I've successfully mixed one with a wintv Nova, a ps3 tuner and a pctv 292e. Really wanted to use a second turbo though as the HD is far better than the 292e plus channel changing is much quicker. As the box will work with multiple other tuners I'm doubtful that it's a power issue.
